Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)
Elevate your engineering career as a Principal NPI Product Engineer at Semtech in Burlington, Ottawa, or Bristol. Lead new product initiatives while collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
In this senior role, you will take ownership of new product development from silicon to production transfer. You will work closely with teams in design, validation, quality, and operations, focusing on high-performance optical and analog/mixed-signal ICs using state-of-the-art CMOS and BiCMOS technologies. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations and enhance business success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive NPI programs from concept to full-volume manufacturing
• Define and implement DfT and DfM requirements for products
• Lead characterization, testing, and yield optimization activities
• Monitor yield metrics and conduct failure analyses
• Collaborate with foundry partners for issue resolution
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred
• 10+ years in semiconductor engineering or related fields
• Proven experience in product transfer and characterization
• Hands-on with ATE test development and DfT principles
• Proficient in statistical analysis tools and scripting
