McCain Foods is seeking a Senior Manager for R&D Packaging, based in Florenceville-Bristol or Toronto, Canada. Focus on innovation and efficiency in food packaging solutions.

This full-time leadership role demands expertise in driving the North America Potato Value Engineering pipeline and R&D agenda. You will collaborate extensively across functions to develop innovative packaging and ingredient solutions while ensuring operational excellence at the site level. This position plays a critical role in aligning practices with cost, quality, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the NA VE pipeline

• Drive innovative packaging strategy to meet business needs

• Collaborate with ingredient suppliers to enhance performance

• Manage cross-functional partnerships for prioritized opportunities

• Ensure safe and efficient trial preparations and scale-up

Requirements:

• 7–10 years in food industry R&D experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related

• Strong understanding of packaging and manufacturing processes

• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Multi-disciplinary expertise in packaging and integration
