Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri: 7:00am – 4:00pm
In this role, you will lead impactful capital and process improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance. This position offers a hands‑on, dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and innovation across multiple plant operations.
What You’ll Do- Lead end‑to‑end engineering projects, including analysis, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, and production readiness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and overall plant efficiency
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and external partners to execute projects and resolve technical challenges
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and timely delivery
- Support plant layout design, workflow optimization, and ergonomic improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and cost performance across manufacturing operations
- Act as a change agent, supporting the adoption of new technologies and processes
Required
- Post‑secondary degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with project coordination or project management
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or similar CAD tools
- Understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between local sites as needed
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or actively working toward certification
- Experience with Solid Works or other 3D modeling tools
- Exposure to automation or capital equipment projects
- Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or similar processes
- Basic understanding of electrical systems

Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50lbs alone. Fast‑paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required. Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, odors, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools. Facility is Semi Climate‑Controlled to prevent heat stress in our employees.
