Be a Detail Engineer at Fleetway, specializing in detailed design work for Canada’s naval and marine vessels. Use your engineering skills to create impactful drawings.
Fleetway is seeking a skilled Detail Designer to join their team, dedicated to converting design concepts into precise 2D drawings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on complex marine projects that support the Royal Canadian Navy. Your analytical and design skills will contribute to the development of systems and components vital for naval construction and modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed 2D drawings from 3D design models
• Adhere to shipyard and regulatory standards in all documentation
• Work with a collaborative team on integrated marine designs
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing design processes
• Keep project files organized and ensure timely deliverables
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Experience with 2D/3D drafting and modeling
• Knowledge of CAD software preferred
• Focused on detail with strong teamwork capabilities
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a technical environment
