Support underground mine engineering with surveying and mine design skills at Agnico Eagle’s Meadowbank Complex on a 14 days on, 14 days off schedule.
Reporting to the Lead Underground Mine Technician, you will complete field assignments supporting production and engineering activities. The position requires independent work, teamwork, precision, and service quality. You will help achieve objectives while respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute surveying and update underground mine layouts
Conduct cavity monitoring and drill hole deviation surveys
Perform volumetric and engineering support calculations
Complete ventilation surveys and model updates
Assist drill and blast design and planning
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
Two to four years of similar experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Knowledge of mine design and planning software
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Bring underground surveying, engineering analysis, and mine planning skills to support Agnico Eagle’s production and operations teams.
