Design agricultural equipment with Solid Works and 3D CAD at Highline Manufacturing, supporting products from concept development through production and launch.
Highline Manufacturing, a Bourgault Industries division, seeks a Design Engineer/Technologist for its Research & Development team. You will improve existing products and create new designs using engineering best practices. The work spans modeling, prototype testing, manufacturing support, and product releases.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and enhance agricultural equipment using 3D CAD modeling
- Analyze designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost
- Create drawings and documentation for prototypes and production
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate product releases and manufacturing engineering support
- Mechanical, agricultural, or related engineering degree or diploma
- Minimum three years of engineering design experience desired
- Proficiency with Solid Works or similar CAD software
- Experience with FEA tools such as Solid Works Simulation
- Knowledge of agricultural practices, equipment technology, and manufacturing methods
