Location: MillgrovePosition Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Slot Technical Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, major overhauls and modifications to various casino assets as well as other assigned duties. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Maintains and repairs slot/video machines and associated progressive meters on gaming floorResponsible for mechanical and electrical repairs at the circuit board levelMaintains and repairs gaming-related units such as automated card shufflers, Cage equipment (currency counters), Park and Pay, and HERMES printing machineComplies with pre-determined internal controls and proceduresComplies with safety and security standardsPerforms machine installations, moves and conversions along with ensuring that such activities are properly documented to comply with regulatory and internal requirementsAssists in lifting slot machines weighing over 200 lbs. on a regular basisIs familiar with design, repair and maintenance standards for all Electronic and Slot GamesTroubleshoots electronic issuesOther duties as requiredEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation and Qualifications
Post Secondary required or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education with a background in electronicsAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseKnowledge of slot operating systemsPossesses strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skillsRequires working knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipmentMust have a professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and be a proven team playerDetailed oriented and Excellent problem-solving skillsProven ability and willingness to learn and keep current within the industryAbility to travel regularly between Ontario sitesAbility to work long hours and up to six days per weekMust be able to work on equipment and lift up to 50lbsGreat Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
