Enhance your career with the Town of Ajax as a Facility Attendant. This part-time role supports facility operations through cleaning, setup, and addressing visitor needs.

The Town of Ajax has three temporary Part-Time Facility Attendant positions available. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and secure environment, assisting with room setups for meetings, and addressing any concerns from the public and staff. The position requires working flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, especially between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum to ensure facility cleanliness

• Lock and secure the building as necessary

• Set up tables and chairs for events and meetings

• Address visitor inquiries and provide assistance

• Handle emergency situations and document incidents

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma and one year of experience in maintenance

• CPR/AED (Level

C) and First Aid certifications

• Strong customer service abilities

• Current valid G Driver's License and clean driving record

• Must be physically able to perform various lifting tasks
