About the Role:
Are you an aspiring actuarial professional with a background in P&C? Join our client who is a well-recognized consulting firm in Canada!

You’ll play a key role in supporting audits of P&C insurance clients. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your actuarial expertise within a leading professional services environment, providing valuable insights to top insurance clients.

This is a 6 to 8-week contract role with opportunity to join the company as a full-time employee. You can work remotely as long as you are residing in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the actuarial reserving work for P&C insurance clients

Perform actuarial reserving analyses

Review and validate reserving methodologies and data used by clients

Collaborate with audit teams and actuarial colleagues to ensure quality and accuracy of reserve estimates

Prepare detailed reports and support documentation for audit purposes

Stay updated on industry trends, reserving practices, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications &

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field

Pursuing or passed at least 2+ actuarial exams (e.g., SOA, CAS)

Prior work experience in P&C insurance reserving preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Excel, actuarial software

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
