Board Position Volunteer – Treasurer (Effective immediately, 2025)    Seniors Serving Seniors  (Mission):
Seniors Serving Seniors is a registered non‑profit charitable society in British Columbia that supports the well‑being of seniors. We are the premier organization in connecting the information needs of seniors with relevant resources and programs. We have our office in Victoria, BC. Seniors Serving Seniors is a responsive, accessible, flexible, and transparent organization.

Organization Background   Seniors Serving Seniors (1981) – We seek the wisdom of a financial wizard, ideally with past or present accounting designation. Our flagship project is our Seniors Directory, which is a significant revenue generator for our society.
Treasurer Position – Volunteer Description (Updated Bylaws)    Role of Treasurer    Monitor the organization’s financial health, including reviewing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, the Society’s financial statements to support internal decision‑making and fulfill external reporting obligations.
Keep accounting records in respect of the Society’s financial transactions.
Make or delegate the Society’s filings respecting taxes.
