I am looking for an Accounts Payable Technician for my client, a company in the distribution sector. This is a permanent, on-site position in Boucherville.
Mission Your Role
As an Accounts Payable Technician, you will be responsible for the complete processing of supplier invoices, monitoring payments, and preparing financial reports. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of accounting data and the smooth flow of operations.
What You Will Do
• Verify and enter invoices from local and Asian suppliers.
• Process payments (checks, Visa, ACH, bank transfers).
• Manage final deposits and payments for suppliers.
• Perform 3-way matching with the warehouse team.
• Monitor accounts payable and eliminate overdue payments.
• Reconcile certain balance sheet accounts with the Visa statement.
• Prepare reports: volume discounts, commissions, ECO fees, etc.
• Assist with bank reports and inventory adjustments.
Your profile
• College diploma (DEC) in accounting or equivalent certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One (an asset) and Excel.
• Bilingualism (French/English).
• Rigor, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
PROCESS:
Initial interview with Romane Dumaine, Recruitment Advisor, followed by an interview with the VP of Finance.
