FCU Community Financial is looking for a team-oriented individual to assist our members in achieving their financial goals as a Permanent, Part-time Financial Service Representative at our Texada Island Branch
.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Providing an exceptional member experience by proactively engaging with members to understand and meet their immediate day-to-day banking needs by identifying the products and services that will benefit them.
  • Completing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments and/or other account transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Transforming the member experience by educating them on our mobile tools and resources.
  • Assisting other team members and completing other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • High School Diploma (preference will be given for post-secondary education).
  • 1-3 years experience in customer service (retail, hospitality, and or financial industry).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus and the ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of deposit and lending products and services is preferred.
  • Successful relationship-building skills.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with or without a calculator.
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential attributes.

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of$ 24.38 to $27 perhour
. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills,previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
