Finance Systems Operations Manager

Location: Halifax Bedford Basin

Manage finance systems operations in Bedford with FIBRS expertise, business analysis, and user acceptance testing responsibilities  Manager of Business Operations Support, you will oversee FIBRS management within Finance Shared Services-Finance Application Operations. You will manage shared service processing, identify requirements with business partners, and support Finance System improvements. The position emphasizes Calculations rules, reporting accuracy, financial controls, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage shared service processing of FIBRS business rules transactions
Identify requirements and enhancements with business partners
Validate impacts on financial reporting from rule changes
Create and execute user acceptance testing plans
Support SOX audits and finance systems controls
Requirements:
Knowledge of RBC EPM, FIBRS, and People Soft systems
Detail-oriented, analytical, independent, and fast-learning approach
Process improvement mindset across business-as-usual activities
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
