Position: Bylaw Enforcement Officer Red Deer

As a Municipal Enforcement Officer, you'll enforce municipal bylaws and respond to public incidents effectively. Responsibilities include gathering evidence, managing exhibits, and maintaining court records. You'll engage with the community to educate residents on compliance and safety, making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce bylaws through consistent patrols in the city

• Gather evidence and respond to complaints and incidents

• Promote safety via community education and outreach

• Mediate conflicts and manage challenging situations

• Keep detailed records for court documentation

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• 2-year Law Enforcement diploma preferred

• Two years in law enforcement or related field

• Must pass background checks and P.A.R.E. test

• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
