Senior Policy Analyst in Iqaluit

Location: Outer Nunavut (Iqaluit)

Drive impactful legislation and strategic direction as a Senior Policy Analyst in Iqaluit. This role focuses on developing policies aligned with the Government of Nunavut’s priorities.

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will support the Minister and Deputy Head, influencing the department’s short- and long-term strategies. Your expertise in policy development and analysis will inform decision-making and priorities. Collaborate with various teams to coordinate research and communications that impact community operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Minister and Deputy Head in Cabinet responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate comprehensive policy and legislative initiatives

• Conduct analysis to inform departmental priorities and decisions

• Make recommendations based on thorough policy reviews

• Ensure alignment with Inuit Societal Values in all initiatives

• Proven experience in policy analysis and development
