Position: Seasonal Municipal Law Enforcement Role
Location: East Haldimand County (Waterdown)

Make a difference in Lincoln as a Seasonal Municipal Law Enforcement Officer from July to September. This integral role involves upholding law and order through by-law enforcement and public engagement.

This part-time seasonal position focuses on parking enforcement, community patrols, and educational outreach. Reporting to the Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement, you will collaborate with a dedicated team while ensuring that community standards are met. Effective communication skills and the ability to handle investigations will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce and monitor compliance with parking by-laws

• Patrol parks and municipal properties regularly

• Draft and submit enforcement-related documentation

• Engage the public in educational initiatives regarding regulations

• Work collaboratively with municipal law enforcement teams

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage time effectively in dynamic settings

• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s license

• Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check
