Take part in a meaningful Political Affairs Internship with The Borgen Project from anywhere. Focus on advocacy efforts that shape U.S., Canadian, and U.K. policies on poverty.
This unpaid, flexible internship lasts for 12 hours per week over 12 weeks. You will engage directly with policymakers, help in fundraising, and attend significant political events to promote poverty reduction initiatives. No experience is necessary; we value your enthusiasm and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct political outreach in your local district
• Meet with Congress and government officials
• Represent The Borgen Project at events
• Create and manage a personal fundraising campaign
• Encourage activism on poverty-related legislation
Requirements:
• Commitment to fighting poverty and social justice
• Effective communicator eager to represent the organization
• Available for 12 hours weekly within a flexible schedule
• No prior experience required
• Welcoming of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints
Gain hands-on experience in political advocacy while supporting vital global issues.
