Location: Dufferin County (Shelburne)
Join the Town of Caledon as a Coordinator for Contracted Services, overseeing road maintenance and contractor performance. This role allows you to impact municipal infrastructure quality.
In the role of Coordinator, Operations (Contracted Services), you will coordinate maintenance activities related to roads and stormwater systems. Reporting to the Manager of Roads and Stormwater Operations, you will handle contractor administration, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with municipal and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance contracts for municipal infrastructure
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify future maintenance needs
• Approve invoices and support budget processes
• Handle contractor issues and customer service inquiries
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
Requirements:
• Accredited in Civil Engineering Technician or related discipline
• At least 5 years of municipal contract experience
•
C.Tech. or CET designation is an asset
• Strong proficiency in asset management software
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
