Location: Swan River

As part of your role, you will assist the Regional Forester in developing and executing forest management initiatives tailored for industrial projects and community needs. Your engagement work will involve collaboration with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to ensure successful project outcomes. Strong planning and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of forest management plans
• Engage communities in forestry-related initiatives
• Oversee timber operations and compliance checks
• Provide coaching and training for team members
• Liaise with Indigenous groups on consultation efforts
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Forestry or Natural Resource Management
• Extensive experience in timber management
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License and Scaling license
