St. Paul Senior Special Agent Position

Location: Saint-Paul

Lead statewide alcohol enforcement initiatives as a Senior Special Agent with the Public Safety Department in St. Paul. Focus on criminal investigations and legislative support within a full-time, telework-eligible role.

In this pivotal position with the Public Safety Department, you will oversee the statewide alcohol enforcement program, managing crucial investigations and compliance checks. This full-time role is ideal for seasoned peace officers with felony-level investigation experience and specialized skillsets. Occasional travel and flexible work hours are necessary to meet enforcement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct coordinated alcohol-related investigations

• Perform underage alcohol compliance checks

• Oversee over service complaint investigations

• Coordinate partner education and grant reporting

• Support traffic safety initiatives across the state

Requirements:

• Licensed Peace Officer in Minnesota

• Associate’s degree plus 4 years of investigation experience

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant law enforcement experience

• Knowledge of alcohol enforcement practices

• Ability to pass extensive background checks
