Position: Coordinator for Regulatory Enforcement Activities
Location: Central Newfoundland (Bishops Falls)

Lead compliance initiatives as a Coordinator for Regulatory Enforcement Activities at the Government Service Centres. This role mixes case management, database oversight, and interaction with justice officials.

Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Health, you will be responsible for coordinating court case management and advising on compliance issues. Your duties include maintaining databases related to enforcement, preparing various legal documents, and attending court proceedings to support enforcement efforts. Strong knowledge of legislation and analytical skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate management of court files relevant to enforcement

• Direct staff on compliance issues and actions to take

• Prepare official legal documents for court and investigations

• Attend court sessions and maintain detailed logs

• Provide training orientation for newly added staff

Requirements:

• Relevant Undergraduate Degree with law enforcement training

• Experience working in a police service setting

• Proficient in regulatory compliance assessments

• Investigative experience is necessary

• Requirement for valid driver’s license and clear background check
