Duties
This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex economic development projects and funding agreements that support growth across Northern Ontario. The incumbent works closely with businesses, municipalities, Indigenous communities, not-for-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to provide advice on funding opportunities, assist with the development of project proposals, assess funding applications, and monitor approved projects.
The role also involves building and maintaining partnerships with various levels of government and community organizations, facilitating regional economic development initiatives, providing input into programs and policies, and ensuring that funded projects comply with program requirements, agreement terms and conditions, and legislative obligations.

The selected candidate will physically work in one of our offices locations:
Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie, Kenora and Thunder Bay. In-office presence is currently required a minimum of 4 days per week onsite.
