Support the RCMP as a Police Watch Operator in Red Deer, Alberta. This casual position offers 24/7 operational support, utilizing various police databases and communication tools.

The City of Red Deer is seeking a dedicated Police Watch Operator with three years of relevant experience. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, conduct safety-critical queries, and manage operational data across multiple databases. Attention to detail is vital to ensure compliance and enhance officer and public safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and audit PROS operational files for accuracy

• Manage UCR statistical data and reporting requirements

• Conduct safety-critical queries for officers on duty

• Perform CPIC record management and messaging services

• Operate CIIDS to track officer status and location

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma required

• 3 years’ experience in a police or legal environment

• Ability to type 55 words per minute accurately

• RCMP security clearance is mandatory

• Willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 operation
