The Town of Swan River is looking for an experienced municipal leader to fulfill the CAO role, working directly with elected officials and community organizations. A strong background in Public Administration, Finance, or a related field is necessary, along with the ability to manage and motivate teams in a unionized environment. Your experience in financial planning and community engagement will be essential in fostering growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Town’s municipal departments

• Provide informed recommendations to Mayor and Council

• Ensure operational compliance with municipal policies

• Oversee human resources and labour relations strategies

• Attend meetings to provide critical information for decision-making

Requirements:

• Certificate in Manitoba Municipal Administration or equivalent

• Significant experience in municipal management

• Expertise in financial oversight and planning

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Able to build productive relationships with stakeholders
