Position: CNL Emergency Management Officer Role

Join Canadian Nuclear Laboratories as an Emergency Management Officer at our Whiteshell site in Manitoba. This pivotal role prioritizes proactive emergency preparation and regulatory compliance.

You will be essential in developing emergency plans, overseeing training programs, and assessing operational drills. Your ability to interact with regulatory bodies while implementing emergency response capabilities will be crucial for this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate planning and coordination skills while managing comprehensive emergency management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and review emergency preparedness procedures

• Lead operational drills to assess response capabilities

• Implement functional and full-scale exercise evaluations

• Conduct program inspections and equipment maintenance

• Facilitate training sessions for emergency personnel

Requirements:

• Educational background in Emergency Management preferred

• 3-5 years relevant experience in emergencies

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Capability to handle stress and adapt to change

• Must pass Level 2 Secret Security Clearance
