Senior Municipal Administrative Officer

Lead municipal operations in Kinngait with strategic advice, financial management, and service delivery as Senior Administrative Officer. This is full-time under a two-year contract.

The Municipality of Kinngait seeks an experienced Senior Administrative Officer reporting directly to Mayor and Council. You will manage administration, infrastructure projects, human resources, and municipal services. The position requires compliance with legislation, policies, and occupational health and safety requirements.

• Advise Mayor and Council on municipal administration
• Lead operations, programs, and service delivery
• Oversee budgets, purchasing, financial management, and reporting
• Manage staff, human resources, and organizational development
• Lead strategic planning, capital projects, and emergency management

• Degree in business, public administration, accounting, commerce, or related field
• Three to five years of senior management experience
• Strong financial management, budgeting, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience managing staff, projects, and municipal operations
• Fluent English;
  Inuktitut is a strong asset
