Chief Administrative Officer Woodstock

Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Lead municipal strategy and accountable public service as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Woodstock, reporting directly to City Council.
This senior executive role guides administration through growth and evolving community expectations. You will advise Council, shape strategic priorities, and translate decisions into measurable organizational action. The mandate includes financial planning, infrastructure, housing, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide development and implementation of Council’s Strategic Plan
Translate approved priorities into accountable organizational actions
Advance growth, housing, infrastructure, and reliable municipal services
Support economic development, investment attraction, and downtown vitality
Build relationships with Council, staff, partners, and residents
Requirements:
Proven Chief Administrative Officer or Deputy Chief Administrative Officer experience
Enterprise-wide municipal or broader public-sector leadership experience
University degree in a relevant discipline
Understanding of municipal governance and financial management
Experience leading complex organizations and significant budgets
Bring strategic judgment, financial acumen, and collaborative municipal leadership to Woodstock’s next chapter of accountable public service.
