Barbershop Manager in Hairstyling Industry

Location: Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Lead operations at a barbershop or hairstyling salon with a focus on customer satisfaction and staff management. This permanent position seeks an experienced manager to oversee daily tasks and employee training.

We are looking for a Barbershop Manager with 2-3 years of experience and a secondary school graduation certificate. You will evaluate and organize daily operations, implement policies, and control budget and inventory. This role requires addressing customer feedback and fostering an inclusive environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate daily barbershop operations for efficiency

• Plan and organize staff schedules and activities

• Establish and implement operational policies for staff

• Control budget and manage inventory supplies

• Train, supervise, and mentor barbers and staff

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate

• 2-3 years of experience in a management role

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Commitment to diversity and supporting underrepresented groups

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
