North West Telepharmacy Solutions (NTS), a subsidiary of The North West Company (NWC), is seeking Hospital Telepharmacists to deliver and support comprehensive pharmacy services for patients and healthcare providers in Quebec, New Brunswick, and/or Ontario through Telepharmacy Communications. In this role, you will help provide high-quality pharmacy care to Canadians and healthcare institutions in under-served regions and during off-peak times by leveraging innovative technologies.

• Provide drug order entry and/or review
• Review medications to ensure clinical appropriateness
• Identify, assess and resolve drug-related problems
• Complete medication reconciliation
• Provide medication information and/or advice in a clear and concise manner
• Identify and implement new technologies that allow optimization of pharmacy services
• Develop and participate in research protocols and publications
• Set up new clients for remote telepharmacy services
• Train and mentor new staff
• Travel occasionally to hospital sites as required
• Shifts are expected to include evenings, weekends and overnights

• Licensed Pharmacist in Good Standing with l’Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec or Ontario or New Brunswick College of pharmacy (licensure in multiple provinces is an asset)
• Minimum of 2 years of front-line clinical hospital experience as a pharmacist
• Bilingual in French and English is required
• A hospital residency or an M.Sc. in advanced pharmacotherapy is an asset
• Experience in developing policies and procedures is an asset
• Ability to make decisions while adhering to site‑specific policies, procedures, and practices
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work collaboratively with onsite staff when required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)

Salary Range: $53.00 CAD per hour - $61.00 CAD per hour (Wage will be commensurate based on Candidates Qualifications and Experience.)
