EMDR Therapist

Location: Remote (must be CRPO licensed and reside in Canada)

Role Type: Contractor

Caseload Expectation: Minimum 15 client hours per week (caseload builds over time; some evening or weekend availability preferred)

Compensation: $80–$100/hour depending on experience and licensing status

LIV Mental Wellness is a virtual therapy practice providing client-centered mental health care to adults in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Our team of clinicians specializes in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, people-pleasing, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, and trauma recovery. Our work focuses on helping clients move beyond insight and develop sustainable emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and greater self-trust through trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

• Provide virtual EMDR therapy to adult clients across Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Jane
• Collaborate with LIV’s admin and clinical team to ensure smooth client care
• Optionally offer EMDR intensives as part of your clinical work

This is a contract-based remote role. The therapist will provide evidence-based mental health care to clients through virtual therapy sessions, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR therapy.

• Registered with the CRPO as an RP or RP (Qualifying)
• Master’s degree in a counselling-related field
• EMDR trained (Level 1 and Level 2 completed)
• Comfortable and experienced providing EMDR therapy in a virtual setting
• Minimum availability of 15 client hours per week
• Some evening or weekend availability preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical, client-centered care
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment and using Jane and Google Workspace
• Collaborative, thoughtful clinician who values contributing to a supportive team culture

Clinical experience or interest in one or more of the following areas is an asset:

• Attachment trauma
• Relational trauma
• Birth trauma
• Recovery from narcissistic abuse
