Join the front lines of healthcare as an Emergency Medical Services Technician. Provide vital assessment, treatment, and patient transport while adhering to established medical protocols.
In this temporary, part-time role, you'll address various emergencies with knowledge of EMS legislation and protocols. Your shifts will encompass various times, including evenings and weekends, emphasizing flexibility and quick decision-making under pressure. Engage with patients, ensuring their safety and well-being while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
• Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate care
• Operate vehicles safely in all conditions
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment
• Coordinate efforts with healthcare teams and emergency services
Requirements:
• Diploma in Primary Care Paramedic is required
• Class 4 driver's license essential
• Certifications in ITLS and CPR must be up to date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the EMT/PCP level
Be a vital part of the EMS team, ensuring community health and safety through effective medical care.
