Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with functional limitations and disabilities. This role demands collaboration with other health disciplines and effective communication with families and caregivers. You will also oversee physiotherapy students, enhancing their training and experience while providing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments for patient treatment plans

• Diagnose impairments and recommend appropriate interventions

• Deliver care in outpatient, inpatient, and community environments

• Supervise physiotherapy students and assistants effectively

• Ensure services are available within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio

Requirements:

• Accredited degree in Physiotherapy

• Registered with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator

• Current certification in CPR

• Additional skills in specialized physiotherapy areas

• Knowledge of French is advantageous
