Job Description & How to Apply Below
Note:

ABOUT
Join a well established and respected independent, family-owned pharmacy, adjacent to an established medical clinic with 3 physicians. You will play an integral role in the health of the patients you serve, and the broader community, in a community‑focussed practice where patient relationships matter.
We are a well known medical equipment and supplies retailer, also offering over‑the‑counter medication and patient aids. What you won’t find is giftware, greeting cards, confectionary, lotto tickets, HABA, and strong scented products. You will possess a strong moral and ethical compass.
We offer the stability, competitive wage and benefits of a large chain pharmacy, with the flexibility, respect and appreciation of a local, family‑owned business. The pharmacy has a full team in place, including 3 pharmacy assistants (1 soon to be a registered pharmacy technician), 1 registered pharmacy technician, and 2 pharmacists, including the pharmacist‑owner. We have a steady and manageable volume, and offer an excellent work/life balance.
There are no evenings, Sundays or holidays, and work a 3 hour shift every third Saturday.
Experience is an asset but aptitude and attitude are what matter most.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will play a key role in daily operations. You will:
Maintain compliance with provincial and federal laws, CPNL standards, and third‑party requirements
Provide safe, effective, and patient‑centered prescription dispensing
Counsel patients on the proper and safe use of medication, potential side effects and interactions
Support and expand clinical services, such as medication reviews, compliance packaging, injections and immunizations, and minor ailment prescribing
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Oversee pharmacy workflow, supporting technicians and assistants, and ensuring efficient operation
Qualification & Skills
Licensed and in good standing with CPNL, or eligible for licensure
Experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply
Excellent clinical, communication and patient interaction skills
Self‑directed and able to work independently
35‑40 hours per week
Rate of pay $55‑60 per hour
Dental and extended health plan available
All CPNL and PANL fees paid directly (no need for reimbursement)
