Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

This temporary full-time Pharmacist I position requires deep engagement with multidisciplinary teams to support inpatient services. You’ll handle medication therapy management and engage in drug distribution operations. This role also shares responsibilities like supervisory tasks, teaching, and participating in professional committees, all while contributing to improved patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pharmaceutical services for inpatient needs

• Conduct ongoing medication therapy management

• Identify and address drug-related problems effectively

• Supervise and train pharmacy staff as required

• Engage in project initiatives within the health services team

Requirements:

• Completion of a Pharmacy Bachelor’s Degree necessary

• Registered with Alberta College of Pharmacy

• Advanced Prescribing Authority needed soon after hiring

• Experience in collaborative healthcare environments required

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills essential
