As a full-time Perfusionist, you will perform essential operatory functions during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety through effective monitoring and equipment operation. This role demands a precise understanding of cardiac perfusion practices and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and the healthcare team. You will play a crucial part in educational initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cardiovascular devices during surgeries

• Monitor patient conditions and vital statistics

• Collaborate with surgeons for optimal outcomes

• Provide expert consultation and education to patients

• Participate in on-call rotations and training programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Certification from the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion

• Two years of experience in a perfusion setting preferred

• Strong decision-making and communication capabilities

• Ability to perform well under pressure
