Location: Swan River
Join Prairie Mountain Health as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will lead the assessment, planning, and treatment of clients. Utilize your expertise to create individualized care plans in diverse settings.
Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist at PMH involves managing an assigned caseload while applying best practices in speech-language therapy. Collaborate with clients, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care delivery. You'll also take on a mentorship role for students and provisional SLPs to support their professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an assigned caseload with expert organization
- Deliver evidence-based assessments and tailored treatments
- Educate clients and caregivers on treatment plans
- Document activities and client progress diligently
- Supervise student clinicians in accordance with guidelines
- Valid SLP license in Manitoba
- Knowledge of client-centered care practices
- Proven experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Robust mentorship and leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with health care policies and documentation
