Position:
Home Health Care Assistant (Personal Care and Companionship)

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

7 months to less than 1 year

• Experience assisting elderly individuals
• Experience working with female clients (if applicable)

• Client’s home (no remote work)

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
• Assist with regular exercise (e.g., walking)
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Cook

• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Walking
• Weight: 61–80 kg (133–176 lbs)
