Adult Day Program Activities Coordinator

Location: Southwestern Manitoba (Virden)

Become an integral part of facilitating the Adult Day Program at Prairie Mountain Health as a Worker focused on activities designed for participant engagement. This role champions quality care and program excellence.

Reporting to the Care Team Manager, you’ll develop and evaluate recreational and therapeutic activities. This position requires collaboration in a multidisciplinary team to ensure that individual participant needs are identified and met through dynamic programming while maintaining safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop customized activity plans for participants

• Collaborate with staff on program evaluation and planning

• Maintain program records, audits, and statistics

• Coordinate safe transportation and meal services

• Follow safety protocols and train staff during emergencies

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare

• Proficient in Microsoft applications and information technology

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

• Strong ability to work independently and foster communication
