Ultrasound Services Sonographer Position

Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Join Shared Health as a General Duty Sonographer, delivering crucial ultrasound services and managing patient experiences. Your expertise will enhance community care across multiple sites.

Supported by the Manager and Charge Technologist, you will perform a variety of ultrasound exams, manage diagnostic files, and ensure a high standard of patient care. Candidates should have effective communication skills and be innovative problem-solvers with a background in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound services per physician requests

• Organize and manage patient diagnostic files

• Ensure equipment and supplies are adequately handled

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient management

• Follow accreditation standards and workplace policies

Requirements:

• Registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS required

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound training program

• CPR certification in line with employer guidelines

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

• A valid Manitoba driver’s license for multi-site travel
