Dauphin Shared Health Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Western Manitoba (Swan River)

Shared Health in Dauphin is seeking a General Duty Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality ultrasound services. Engage in patient management and ensure compliance with health service standards.

In this in-person role, you will perform ultrasound scans and manage related diagnostic files and equipment. Supporting physician requests and assisting in radiographic duties when needed are key components of the job. Upholding the guidelines set by Shared Health and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute ultrasound scans as required by physicians

• Handle patient exam requests and manage their files

• Manage equipment and maintain supplies effectively

• Adhere to safety and quality assurance protocols

• Support radiographic and ECG procedures when capable

Requirements:

• Must graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program

• Registered with Sonography Canada or ARDMS

• Prior related ultrasound experience preferred

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows

• Strong English communication skills required
