Immunization Registrar

Position: Immunization Registrar Southern Health-Santé Sud
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

As an Immunization Clerk with Southern Health-Santé Sud, you will play a crucial role in welcoming clients to vaccine clinics and assisting with important processes like registration and data entry into PHIMS.

This position emphasizes strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a healthcare environment. Candidates should respect cultural diversity and be proficient in Microsoft programs to contribute effectively to clinic operations, including setting up equipment and maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and register clients attending immunization clinics

• Ensure smooth management of client flow throughout the clinic

• Record immunization data accurately in PHIMS

• Set up and take down necessary clinic equipment

• Encourage a safe environment promoting cultural inclusivity

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 Manitoba Standards required

• Experience with healthcare settings is advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs and remain standing
