Sonographer Position at Bethesda Hospital

Location: Southeastern Manitoba (Lorette)

Become a key member of the healthcare team as a Sonographer at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. This in-person role involves providing high quality ultrasound services, with an anticipated start in July 2026.

Shared Health is looking for a General Duty Sonographer to join its Bethesda Diagnostic Imaging department. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound services while ensuring optimal patient interaction and diagnostic file management. Candidates with strong communication and organizational skills are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver ultrasound services as directed by physicians

• Handle diagnostic files and patient management competently

• Maintain all ultrasound equipment and supplies efficiently

• Uphold standards set by Accreditation and Shared Health

• Work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound training program

• Registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS

• Effective communication, both oral and written

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Valid CPR certification according to employer policy
