Position: Warkworth Place Activity Aide Role
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Make a difference in the lives of seniors working as a Casual Activity Aide at Warkworth Place in Warkworth, ON. Facilitate various enriching activities and programs!

As an Activity Aide, you will report to the Programs Manager and play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational activities for residents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring engagement, maintaining a tidy activity area, and ensuring the residents' participation is well-documented. You'll work collaboratively with multiple departments to fulfill residents' needs and create memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess individualized and group activity plans

• Prepare and clean activity areas before and after sessions

• Ensure the safe transport of residents to programs

• Keep accurate records of resident participation

• Coordinate with staff across departments for programs

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in relevant field

• Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills

• Proven experience in planning activities for diverse populations

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Knowledge of geriatric care, especially cognitively impaired seniors
