Position: Porter for Efficient Hospital Services
Location: Northwestern Ontario (Red Lake)

Become a vital part of the hospital team as a dedicated Porter. Your responsibilities will include the transport of equipment, linen, and records to support daily operations effectively.

This position plays a significant role in maintaining the hospital's operational flow. You'll be handling safe deliveries across different departments while following health and safety protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for interacting with staff and the public. Flexibility will be key in adjusting to varying tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport staff, supplies, and equipment

• Deliver essential medical charts and specimens

• Distribute clean linens and remove dirty ones

• Collaborate effectively with other departments

• Perform additional assignments as required

Requirements:

• Valid Class “G” driver’s license is necessary

• WHMIS certification required or willingness to obtain

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Must be physically fit for extensive walking and lifting 20+ lbs

• Flexibility for varying job tasks
