Become an essential part of emergency care as a Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician. Respond rapidly to emergencies, providing crucial assessments and life-saving interventions at the Basic Life Support level.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing both urgent and non-urgent calls, ensuring patient safety and adherence to critical protocols and legislation. Demonstrating empathy and resilience, you'll work independently while collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality emergency medical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle urgent and non-urgent EMS call responses
• Assess and provide care for patients in transit
• Follow established medical protocols and regulations
• Collaborate within a team-based environment
• Employ effective communication for successful outcomes
Requirements:
• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) required
• Certification in CPR and AED necessary
• Valid Class 4 driver's license required
• Registered Emergency Medical Technician/PCP status needed
• Skills in conflict resolution and interpersonal communications
Utilize your EMT training to provide critical interventions with compassion, ensuring patient care in emergency situations.
