Rehabilitation Assistant Position in Port Moody

Location: Kamloops North

Become a Rehabilitation Assistant at Eagle Ridge Hospital, Port Moody, B.C., and play a key role in improving patients' lives. Help patients regain mobility and independence under therapist oversight.

This casual opportunity allows you to make an immediate impact within an interprofessional care team. You will assist in implementing treatment programs and contribute to the overall rehabilitation process. Your ability to communicate effectively and observe patient progress will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans for activities of daily living

• Observe and report patient changes to the healthcare team

• Train patients on mobility and the use of assistive devices

• Keep therapy equipment well-maintained and organized

• Assist with therapy device fabrication and adjustments

Requirements:

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Physical capability to execute job duties

• Organized approach to task management

• Experience with therapy-related equipment
