This role requires performing a variety of ultrasound examinations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing requisitions, preparing the ultrasound equipment, and effectively communicating patient data to radiologists for optimal diagnosis. You will also play a vital part in fostering positive relations with patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute general ultrasound examinations based on requisitions

• Complete forms and reports accurately for workflow

• Monitor and operate ultrasound equipment proficiently

• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

• Approved Ultrasound Technologist Diploma required

• Certification from ARDMS as a Generalist Sonographer

• 1 year recent experience in a healthcare environment

• Eligibility for registration with Sonography Canada

• Strong independent and collaborative working skills
