Support local health initiatives as a dedicated Community Health Board Volunteer. Contribute to wellness advocacy and resource sharing while enhancing community health strategy knowledge.

This volunteer engagement role focuses on the improvement of local health and wellness through collaboration with community stakeholders. You'll gather information, advocate for community health priorities, and support the development of health-related partnerships. Attendance at meetings and involvement in health planning is key to fostering community advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Share information on local health improvement strategies

• Advocate for community-based health initiatives

• Partner with local organizations for wellness projects

• Participate in developing community health plans

• Attend monthly meetings and committee sessions

Requirements:

• Age 16+ and reside in the CHB service area

• Interest in learning about community health issues

• Awareness of health's social determinants

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills

• Dedicated to attending scheduled board meetings
