Emergency Medical Responder

Location: Yorkton Region (Melville)

Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) – Casual Vacancy  Shamrock Ambulance Services, part of Medavie Health Services West, is seeking Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) to fill casual shifts in Wadena, Wynyard, Foam Lake, and Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. Shifts are 8 hours, with on‑call availability as needed.
Responsibilities   Provide independent advance clinical care.
Safely transport individuals during emergency and non‑emergency responses, and inter‑facility transfers.
Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in accordance with patient needs and public safety standards.
Follow the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP), Saskatchewan College of Paramedics registration requirements, and Medavie Health Services West policies, procedures and protocols.
Requirements   Must be a registered EMR with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
Must hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License (or equivalent); resume should include a copy of the license (front and back).
Must have current CPR certification.
Must provide a valid, clean criminal record check (within the last 60 days) with vulnerable sector check.
Must provide a driver’s abstract (within the last 30 days).
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Capability to work all assigned shifts and maintain a good attendance record.

Excellent work habits and professionalism.
