This role focuses on delivering vital health programs and requires certification in Public Health Inspection and a relevant bachelor’s degree. As part of a team, you will engage with community members and agencies, ensuring programs meet Ontario Public Health Standards. Strong communication and independent work abilities are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement community health programs efficiently
• Actively engage with community organizations
• Assess and evaluate health program success
• Ensure compliance with provincial health standards
• Communicate effectively with diverse populations
Requirements:
• Certification in Public Health Inspection (Canada)
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health/public health
• Experience in public health program implementation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in both team-based and independent settings
